Ayase also stars as Yae in Sakura no Yae, whose opening episode, but not the remaining 49, is also carried here. Ayase gives a very compelling and plausible performance as Balsa.

She also appears to have trained hard for the role since she does much of the spear-fighting herself.

She is surrounded by an excellent supporting cast as well. Otherwise this is just a tease. If Amazon fails to deliver, there are other means to watch this series.
